LAKE WORTH, Fla. – The Towson University men's golf team is set to open April down in Florida as the Tigers are competing in the Southern Invitational on April 1 and 2.
At last year's event, the Black & Gold placed third out of 11 teams after rounds of 288, 296 and 283 to finish 3-over par. Four players placed in the top-25 individually. Of the returners who competed in the tournament,
Brad Riley tied for 16
th after shooting 75, 76 and 69 to finish 4-over par.

TEE TIMES AND FORMAT
This is a 54-hole event with 36 holes of play taking place on the first day and the remaining 18 on the second. Players will tee off at 8:30 a.m. for a shotgun start on Monday (April 1) while Tuesday (April 2) is an early double tee start.

Players from St. John's, Florida Atlantic University, Binghamton, Canisius College, North Carolina A&T, Holy Cross and Niagra University are attending this event.

Jai Sheth is paired to tee off with former NBA player JR Smith as Smith now plays for Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) foe North Carolina A&T's men's golf team.
LAST WE SAW THEM
The Tigers are coming off of an eighth-place finish at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate earlier this week, earning a final score of 897 (+45) after shooting 308, 292 and 297.
Brad Riley was the top finisher for the Tigers, tying for 26
th after carding 75-73-74.
Ariihau Faana tied for 30
th with consistent scores of 75-74-74.
