LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. – The Towson University men's golf team competed in match play against Lafayette on the final day of Drexel's invitational, falling to the Leopards 3-2.
Brad Riley was paired up against Harry Dessel and was able to win the match as he was up six with five holes to go. Throughout the 13 holes played, Riley never trailed Dessel. The fifth-year was in the lead after the first hole but Dessel managed to bring the match to a tie after outscoring Riley for the second hole. Brad took back the lead after the third hole and maintained it for the next 11 holes.
Michael Matheson picked up the Tigers' second match win as he was up four with three holes left. Matheson opened the match against Hudson Pace in the lead after outscoring him by one stroke. The two were tied for the next three holes before Matheson managed to pull away and hold onto the lead for the following 11 holes.
Matthew Gonnello started off with the lead, outscoring Boyoung Chang by two strokes for the first hole. The two went back and forth for the following holes until No. 15 where Gonnello had the chance to win the match but was outscored for the next two holes. He wrapped up play down three with one hole to go.

Sky Aung concluded their matches down three with two to play and down seven with six to play, respectively.

The Tigers attend one final tournament later this week before the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championship, attending the Rutherford Intercollegiate hosted by Penn State on April 13 and 14.
