TOWSON, Md.- The Towson University Women's Tennis team had
Lea Kosanovic named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Team announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) today.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Kosanovic earned the honor for the second time during her tenure at Towson. She is currently majoring in molecular biology, biochemistry and bioinformatics and has accumulated a 3.98 GPA. The senior amassed 13 wins this season with eight of those wins coming at the number one flight in doubles with
Chandré Boshoff.
