Jo Torres have been selected to the Senior All-Star Team announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
Goodrich and Torres will represent the South All-Stars.
The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The Division I teams will play the first game at 10:00 am. Admission for all three games is free of charge.
Goodrich was named to the All-CAA First Team. She ranked fourth in the CAA in caused turnovers with 25, which included a season-high four against both James Madison and William & Mary. The Chester, Maryland native led the Tigers in ground balls with 40, which ranked third in the conference. She finished with two or more ground balls in ten of the 16 games this season. Goodrich added a career-high 33 draw controls.
Torres made 143 saves in the crease for the Tigers, which ranked third in the conference. The Prince Frederick, Maryland native was third in the CAA in saves per game averaging 9.53. The senior goalkeeper finished seven games with double-digit saves, including a season-high 14 against James Madison. Torres ranked fourth in the conference in save percentage with a .466.
