TOWSON, Md. – Towson University field hockey head coach
Katie Gerzabek Salem has announced the team's 2024 fall slate featuring 18 contests, including 10 at the TU Field Hockey Complex. The schedule includes 12 non-conference games and six Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) contests.
Admission for all Towson home games at the TU Field Hockey Complex is free to the public.
Towson opens the season with a two-game road trip in North Carolina. First, the Tigers face Appalachian State on Friday, Aug. 30 at 4 p.m. That Sunday, Sept. 1, Towson faces Davidson at noon.
Following that, Towson returns to the TU Field Hockey Complex for a five-game homestand. The first visitor is Saint Francis (Pa.) on Sept. 6 at 3 p.m. Wagner visits on Sunday, Sept. 8 to face off at noon. The following Friday, Sept. 13, the Tigers play Georgetown at 3 p.m. Towson closes the weekend facing Queens (N.C.) on Sunday, Sept. 15 at noon. The Tigers finish the homestand against Delaware on Sept. 20 in the first CAA contest of the season.
The first CAA road game comes against William & Mary on Friday, Sept. 27 at 5 p.m. The Black & Gold then visit Richmond on Sept. 29 at 11 a.m.
The Tigers return to the TU Field Hockey Complex on Friday, Oct. 4 to take on Drexel at 3 p.m. in CAA play. Towson plays Colgate on Sunday, Oct. 6 at noon.
The final multi-game road trip starts with a matchup against Northeastern in CAA play on Oct. 11 at 3 p.m. The Tigers then face Sacred Heart in a neutral site contest on the campus of Yale University on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 9:30 a.m. The Tigers close the road trip in New Jersey with a game at Monmouth on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m.
The final homestand of the season is three games, starting with Bellarmine on Sunday, Oct. 20 at noon. Towson closes CAA play on Friday, Oct. 25 against Hofstra at 3 p.m. That Sunday, Oct. 27, Lafayette visits for the final home contest of the season at 1 p.m.
The Tigers close out the regular season on the road, going against Lock Haven on Sunday, Nov. 3 at noon.
The CAA Tournament will be held from Friday, Nov. 8 to Sunday, Nov. 10 at So Sweet a Cat Field on the campus of Monmouth University.
