ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Towson University women's golf team is attending the second to last tournament of the 2024 fall campaign this weekend, attending the Navy Fall Invitational on September 28 and 29.
The 36-hole, two round tournament is slated to be played at the par-72, 6,084-yard U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Maryland. Tee times for the first day of 18 begin at 9:00 a.m. and the second day will be a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.
Last Year in Annapolis
The 2023-24 squad found success at last year's Navy Fall Invite, placing second overall out of 15 teams, ahead of three Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) foes. This was the team's highest finish at a tournament since 2021. Recent alumna
Madison Barber led the team with an individual runner-up finish, taking second place amongst 88 players after rounds of 72 and 75. Returner
Grace Oristian placed in the top 30 after consistent rounds of 79 and 79.

Newcomers
Flora Peugnet and
Kalyn Doss will be officially making their debuts as Tigers this weekend as this will be both athletes first tournament competing for Towson.
Field
In addition to Navy, the Black & Gold are set to compete against players from The Citadel, Queens University of Charlotte, Wagner College, Howard, Monmouth, Sacred Heart, Long Island University, Lafayette, Bryant, Quinnipiac, Mount St. Mary's, Hofstra, Lehigh and College of the Holy Cross.

th at the Nittany Lion Invitational hosted by Penn State last weekend.
Peyton Costabile and
Grace Oristian were the team's top two individual finishers. Costabile took 34
th out of 83 after rounds of 73-76-80 while Oristian placed 56
th after steady play of 77-79-78.
