PHILADELPHIA – Earning over a 49.1 score on each beam and bars, the Towson University gymnastics team earned a quad meet victory in Philadelphia, finishing with a season-high team score of 195.600.
Towson defeated meet host UPenn 193.250 and participants Yale at 191.500 and Ursinus 188.425. Towson had the best score in all four rotations, earning a 49.200 on the balance beam, 49.150 on the uneven bars, 48.650 on the floor exercise and 48.600 on the vault.
Individually,
Isabella Minervini won the all-around with a total score of 39.000 in her first-ever collegiate competition in the all-around.
Ava Harper won the vault with a score of 9.850 while Towson placed three on the podium on the balance beam, led by
Clara Hong at 9.900 and followed by
Chelsey Dennis and
Celia Trotter at 9.875.

- Ana Kenefick and Isabella Minervini began with 9.750s, then Celia Trotter notched a career-high 9.875 in third rotation. Clara Hong then tied her career-high, notching a 9.900, the highest Towson individual score of any event in the meet.
- Reigning EAGL Rookie Specialist of the Week Chelsey Dennis notched a career-high 9.875 on sixth rotation to send Towson to the 49.100.
