TOWSON, Md. – Following Towson University's victory in the Penn Senior Meet, two Tigers have been recognized in this week's East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) weekly honors.
 
Isabella Minervini is the EAGL Gymnast of the Week while Ava Harper is the EAGL Rookie Specialist of the Week.
 
Minervini is the EAGL Gymnast of the Week for the second time in the young season while Harper earns her first-ever league weekly award.  Towson has had the EAGL Rookie Specialist of the Week the last two weeks, with Chelsey Dennis notching the award last week.
 
Minervini became the first Towson gymnast to compete in the all-around since 2022, finishing in first with a total score of 39.000.  She had at least a 9.75 in three events, including a 9.875 on the uneven bars.
 
Harper, in just her second-ever collegiate competition, won the vault at the meet with a 9.850 score, also setting a career-high.
 
The Tigers next compete at the Showplace Arena in Upper Marlboro on Friday, Jan. 31.
