TOWSON, Md. – The honors keep rolling in for Mikey Weisshaar as the Towson University attack was named the USA Lacrosse Men's DI Player of the Week, announced on Tuesday.
 
It is the second straight year Towson has earned a USA Lacrosse Men's DI Player of the Week honor.  Nick DeMaio was selected for that on Feb. 20, 2024.
 
The 2025 USA Lacrosse Preseason Midfielder of the Year and reigning CAA Co-Player of the Week scored the game-winning overtime goal vs. Delaware on Saturday as Towson won its league opener.
 
The junior started on the attack line and earned his first-ever six-goal game, adding an assist, three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
