TOWSON, Md. – Mikey Weisshaar continues to impress during league play, earning his third straight Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Offensive Player of the Week honor, announced by the conference on Monday.
 
The junior started at attack for the Towson University men's lacrosse team on Saturday, helping the Tigers defeat Drexel 12-8 in Philadelphia to improve the Black & Gold to 3-0 in CAA play.
 
Weisshaar earned his third consecutive 5+ goal game, finishing with seven points off six goals and an assist, adding three ground balls.  In the past three games, Weisshaar has combined for 17 goals, adding three assists for 20 points.
 
It is the second straight year where a Tiger has earned three CAA Offensive Player of the Week awards in the same season, with Nick DeMaio being selected for the award three times in 2024.
 
Weisshaar shared the honor with Anthony Mollica of Hofstra.
 
Towson has another game in the north next Saturday, April 4, playing at Monmouth at noon.
