TOWSON, Md. – Towson University men's lacrosse is riding an eight-game winning streak into the league tournament and has risen a spot in each of the national rankings this week.
 
Towson moved up to No. 15 in the United States Intercollegiate Coaches Association (USILA) Coaches Poll and No. 14 in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll. 
 
These are the highest rankings of the season for the Tigers plus Towson is ranked for the second straight week.
 
The Tigers earned their eighth straight win and perfect Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) regular season with a 9-7 victory at Hofstra on Saturday.  Towson goes into the CAA Tournament with a 9-5 overall record and a 7-0 conference slate.
