TOWSON, Md. - The Towson University cross country team has released its 2025 campaign, announced by head coach

Last Season Recap
Towson opened last season with back-to-back first-place finishes at the Baltimore Metro Meet and the Delaware State Sting Invitational. The Tigers continued their strong start with a runner-up finish at the University of Delaware Invitational, highlighted by a standout performance from sophomore
Baara Stewart. Stewart was the lone Tiger to break into the top 10 among 9 Blue Hens, clocking a time of 19:14.20 in the 5k – the 10th-fastest time in program history on that course.
The Black & Gold then recorded a combined 13 personal bests over the next two meets, including 10 at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational where Towson secured another second-place team finish. At the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championship, the Tigers improved by 46 points from their 2023 performance to place 8th overall and earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals.
Towson closed the season with a 29th-place team finish at regionals, led by senior
Isabella Myles. Her time of 22:23.50 in the 6k ranked 8th all-time in program history at the Penn State course.
2025 Season Schedule
The Tigers open their season with a trip to Mount St. Mary's for the Mount St. Mary's 5k Duals on August 29.
On September 19, the Black & Gold travel to Newark for the University of Delaware Invite.
Towson will travel to Lehigh University for the Paul Short Run on October 3. The Tigers will return to Pennsylvania to conclude the regular season on October 18 for the Aubrey Shenk Invitational, hosted by Gettysburg College.
On October 31, the Tigers will travel to Monmouth University for the CAA Championship.
Those who qualify for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals will compete at Lehigh University on November 14. The NCAA Championship is slated for November 22 at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Missouri.
