Malinah Purcell-Telefoni each garnered weekly Coastal Athletic Association awards following the Tigers' 4-0 weekend, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Pagan was named the CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week after posting 60 kills on a .307 hitting percentage in the Tigers' 4-0 weekend hosting the Towson-Morgan State Invitational, including a career-high 23 kills vs. Kent State on Saturday evening. The Colorado State transfer finished the weekend with two double-doubles, totaling 14 kills and 10 digs vs. Quinnipiac and 15 kills and 13 digs vs. New Orleans.
Purcell-Telefoni earned CAA Defensive Player of the Week recognition after totaling 25 blocks in the Tigers' perfect weekend. She was productive on both sides of the ball, averaging 2.83 and 1.67 blocks per set. The freshman posted 25 kills on a .353 hitting percentage and added five service aces over the weekend.
Pagan is the Tigers' first Offensive Player of the Week of the season and first since
Victoria Barrett earned the honor on October 28
th of last season. On the defensive side,
Ylenia De Mango earned the Tigers' last award on September 16
th, 2024.

Towson will host its second and final non-conference invitational on Friday and Saturday. They'll face Iona (10:30 a.m.) and Princeton (7 p.m.) on Friday and conclude the weekend on Saturday vs. Lafayette (10 a.m.) and Penn (6 p.m.).
