TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University softball team announced its 2026 schedule on Monday. The 55 game slate features four tournaments including the annual TU DeMarini Invite and the Towson Tiger Invite, eight Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) series and eight midweek games.
All Towson softball home games are played at the Tiger Softball Stadium. Attendance for all Towson softball home games.
The Tigers ended the 2025 season with a 23-29 overall record and an 11-16 conference record to finish eighth in the CAA. Heading into Head Coach

Grace Franczyk who batted 375 with 54 hits and 40 RBIs last season as well as CAA All-Rookie member
Mackenzie Gorczyca. The Tigers also return 205.1 innings of pitching from last season in

Olivia Trombley.

The 2026 schedule begins with the Founders Classic hosted by USC Upstate which starts on February 6 when Towson faces Ohio and USC Upstate. Then on Saturday, February 7 the Tigers take on Ohio and Saint Francis.
The next week Towson heads back south to Furman for the Purple and White Classic from Friday, February 13 through Sunday, February 15. The Tigers play Bowling Green and Furman on Friday then Saturday will see the Tigers take on Lipscomb and Furman before they end the weekend with another game against the Falcons on Sunday.
Towson then makes one final trip to the Carolina's from February 20-22 for the Pirate Clash hosted by East Carolina. The Tigers begin the weekend Friday with a game against St. Bonaventure followed by a matchup vs the Pirates. Saturday sees a clash against James Madison before a rematch with the hosts. A Sunday matchup against the Bonnies at closes out the tournament for Towson.
The Tigers then return home to host the TU DeMarini Invite from Thursday, February 26-Sunday, March 1. Towson's home opener takes place Thursday against Morgan State. Friday sees the Tigers match up with Cornell and Merrimack. The Tiger's weekend closes with games against Merrimack on Saturday and Morgan State on Sunday.
Towson next plays its first midweek of the season when it takes a short trip to play UMBC on Tuesday, March 3 before returning home to host the Towson Tiger Invite from March 6-8 to begin an eleven-game homestand. The Tigers face UMass-Lowell. and Central Connecticut State on Friday before a rematch against the Blue Devils on Saturday and a Sunday game against Coppin State.
The homestand continues as Towson hosts midweek matches against Delaware State on Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday versus Mount Saint Mary's. CAA play then commences as the Tigers play host to Drexel for a three-game series (March 13-15). The homestand concludes with a midweek double header on March 18 against Albany then the Tigers hit the road for a conference series at Monmouth (March 20-22). The final week of March sees Towson welcome George Mason to Tiger Softball Stadium on for a midweek game on March 24 followed by a road series at Stony Brook (March 27-29).
A five-game homestand begins with an April 1 midweek against Coppin State then a CAA series against Hofstra (April 3-5) and concludes with a midweek match against George Mason. Towson next visits UNC-Wilmington (April 10-12) for a weekend series the returns home to host its final midweek of the season April 15 against Villanova. The second half of April commences with a pair of CAA series, first at home against Monmouth (April 17-19) followed by a trip to Philadelphia to take on Drexel (April 24-26). The final regular season weekend of the season sees the Tigers host Charleston (April 30-May 2) in one final CAA series.
All teams who qualify at the end of the regular season will compete in the CAA Championships hosted by Elon from May 6-May 9.
