TOWSON, Md. – Towson University's Celia Trotter has been selected as the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Specialist of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday.
 
This is Trotter's first-ever EAGL weekly award.  Towson has had an EAGL weekly award honoree the first two weeks, with Isabella Minervini being the EAGL Gymnast of the Week last week.
 
The senior from Nashville earned her first victory on beam since Feb. 21, 2025, taking first on beam with a 9.850 during Friday's dual meet with West Chester.  It was her highest score on the beam since Jan. 17, 2025.
 
The team is next competing on Friday, Jan. 23 at 8 p.m. ET at Arizona.
