Addie Scott have received weekly Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) awards. Scott is the CAA Women's Co-Swimmer of the Week, Parrau is the CAA Women's Diver of the Week, and Colson and Clark are the CAA Men's Swimmer and Diver of the week respectively.
Addie Scott was victorious seven times in Towson's dual meets against James Madison and George Mason winning four individual events and three relays to lead the Tigers to a pair of wins. Scott won the 100 free (52.05) and 200 free (1:51.16) against the Dukes while swimming in the winning 200 free relay team that clinched the meet for Towson. Taking on the Patriots the junior took first in the 200 free (1:50.28) and 200 back (2:02.19) while also swimming in the first place 400 free relay and 200 medley relay teams. This is Scott's third weekly honor of the season.
Sean Colson earns his first weekly honor of the season and is the second Tiger to be named CAA Men's Swimmer of the Week this season. The senior swept the back events in Towson's dual meet win over George Mason posting times of 48.42 in the 100 back and 1:44.93 in the 200 back. Colson also swam in the first place 200 medley relay team and the second place 400 free relay team. Against Navy, Colson finished second in the 100 back and fourth in the 100 fly while swimming in the second place 200 free relay team.
Shannon Parrau receives her fourth weekly honor of the season after helping lead the Tigers to back-to-back victories over James Madison and George Mason reaching the podium in all four events she competed in. Against the Patriots Parrau swept the boards scoring 311.25 to win the 3 meter dive and 285.38 to win the 1 meter dive. Facing JMU the senior scored 315.38 in the 3 meter and 278.48 in the 1 meter dive to place second and third.
Aidan Clark is the second Tiger to be named CAA Men's Diver of the Week this season. The senior scored 303.45 to take first in the 1 meter dive against George Mason and placed fourth in the 3 meter dive scoring 266.93 to help the Tigers defeat the Patriots. Facing the Midshipmen Clark again won the 1 meter dive scoring 296.33 before taking second in the 3 meter dive with a score of 260.18.
Towson is back in action on January 14
th when the Tigers will make a short trip to take on Howard in a dual meet.
