TOWSON, Md. – Towson University men's lacrosse has risen a spot in the
Inside Lacrosse (IL) Media Poll for Week 2 to stay in the top-17 in both polls.
Towson held at No. 17 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Coaches Poll, being tied at that spot with Virginia, and went up one spot to No. 16 in the
IL Media Poll, both released on Monday.
Towson went 1-1 in its opening week last week, narrowly falling in a road game at then-No. 16/15 Johns Hopkins 13-11 on Tuesday then following up with a 12-8 home win vs. Navy, which was receiving votes in the coaches poll.
The Tigers have been ranked in the top-20 of each poll since April 21, 2025.
Towson hits the road to Philadelphia for a game at Saint Joseph's on Friday, Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. Saint Joseph's, standing at 1-1, is receiving votes in the USILA Coaches Poll.
