BOSTON, Mass. - The Towson University track & field team completed its trip to Boston for the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championship. Originally slated for two days, the competition was reduced to a single day due to impending inclement weather forecasted for Monday. Despite the last-minute change of events, the Tigers put up some impressive numbers, finishing in fourth place after accumulating 92 points.
Elon secured the championship title with 135 points, followed by Hampton in second place with 121.50 points. North Carolina A&T secured third place with 93 points, one point more than Towson's total.
