TOWSON, Md. – The Towson men's golf team will start a stretch of four competition days in eight days with two days and two rounds at the ABARTA Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational hosted by Lafayette College. The tournament will be two days with one round each day.
Competing for the Tigers are
Sky Aung,
Ariihau Faana,
Jai Sheth,
Michael Matheson and
Matthew Gonnello with
Poon Nantsupawat competing as an individual. This group of six competed at Towson's last tournament.
Towson will be one of 16 teams competing, alongside Canisius, Colgate, Drexel, Fordham, Hofstra, Iona, La Salle, Lafayette, Laval, Le Moyne, Lehigh, Merrimack, Mount St. Mary's, Niagara and St. Bonaventure.
Faana and Aung were the low scorers at three-over par. Sheth carded a 16-over par and Matheson scored 20-over par while Nantsupawat turned in a 13-over score. Gonnello competed as an individual, scoring 14-over par.
Following this tournament, Towson will return to Pennsylvania for the Rutherford Intercollegiate, hosted by Penn State.
