Towson Men’s Lacrosse Nationally Ranked for Sixth Consecutive Week

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's lacrosse team stands in the national rankings for the sixth consecutive week.

The Tigers enter this week at No. 17 in each the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.  Towson drops a spot in each poll despite having won their last six games.

Towson is coming off a 21-5 victory at Hampton on Saturday to improve to 4-0 in Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play.  One more league victory would secure hosting rights to the CAA Tournament for Towson.

Towson is the only team ranked in the top-20 of either poll.  Drexel is receiving votes in the USILA Coaches Poll.

The Tigers held north to Connecticut on Saturday, April 18 for a noon game at Fairfield.
