PRINCETON, N.J. - The Towson University women's lacrosse team is set for a midweek matchup against No. 23/24 Princeton in New Jersey. Towson is coming off a 14-12 win last weekend against Drexel. The Tigers will be coming into
Kristen Carr's third season as the head coach for the Black & Gold.

Hannah Lewis has made a significant impact at attack for the Tigers this season. The redshirt junior leads the team in points (34) and goals (29). Lewis ranks fifth in the CAA in goals per game (2.23).
Jenna Cardeno also continues to make an impact in her sophomore year between the pipes. Cardeno ranks third in the CAA in saves per game at 8.69 (113 total this season) and ranks 24th in the NCAA in the same category. Earlier this season, the sophomore eclipsed 250 career saves. In her first year, Cardeno was the only goalkeeper named to the CAA All-Rookie Team.
Preseason Accolades
The Tigers were voted to finish in third place in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Preseason Coaches' Poll, earning 33 points. The Black & Gold were picked behind CAA defending champion Stony Brook and Drexel. Senior midfielder

Welcome (Back) to Towson!
Kristen Carr was named the Women's Lacrosse Head Coach in July 2023. The two-time gold medalist has made assistant coaching stops at North Carolina, Delaware, Stanford, Ohio State and Johns Hopkins. Carr was an IWLCA All-American defensive midfielder at North Carolina, where she made four NCAA Tournament appearances. Alongside

Scouting No. 23/24 Princeton
The Tigers enter Wednesday's matchup with a 6-6 overall record and a 3-2 record in Ivy League play. Princeton picked up wins this season over Rutgers, Harvard, Penn State, Hofstra, Cornell and Columbia. This week, senior attacker Haven Dora was named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week after tallying 12 points over two games (three goals, nine assists). Dora's 37 assists rank first in the Ivy League and 14th in the country. The senior additionally leads the Ivy League in assists per game at 3.08, good for ninth in the country.
