TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's lacrosse team is riding a seven-game winning streak and is back at No. 16 in the United States Intercollegiate Coaches Association (USILA) Coaches Poll, announced on Monday.
The Tigers went up a spot to No. 16 in the USILA Coaches Poll and remain at No. 17 in the
Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
Towson defeated Fairfield 12-5 in Connecticut on Saturday to win its seventh straight and secure hosting rights for the upcoming Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Tournament on April 30 and May 2. Towson has won at least a share of the CAA regular season title and has a chance to win it outright on Saturday.
Towson is the only CAA team ranked in the top-20 of either poll. Drexel is receiving votes in the coaches poll.
