TOWSON, Md. – Towson University track & field split across two meets on Friday with the majority of the team competing at the Kehoe Twilight Meet at the University of Maryland and
Leeann Redlo competing in the long jump at the East Coast Relays at North Florida.
Kehoe Twilight Meet – Field Events
Brunell Owusu won the pole vault with a mark of 3.80m.
Sierra Swangin finished fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.64m and
Addison Inge finished in sixth with a mark of 1.59m.
Denise Kamgaing finished third in the hammer throw with a mark of 55.36m.
Olamide Enajekpo placed fifth with a mark of 53.33m.
Denise Kamgaing finished 10th in the discuss with a mark of 37.44m.
Aleah Schwartz finished eighth in the javelin with a mark of 28.51m.
Olamide Enajekpo finished ninth in the shot put with a mark of 11.49m.
Kiara Murray won the triple jump with a mark of 12.17m while
Aniyah Toppin placed fifth with a mark of 11.85m.
Jaylynn Dorsey and
Aniyah Toppin set new personal bests in the long jump with marks of 5.93m and 5.84m, respectively, to place third and sixth. Dorsey's mark is fifth all-time at Towson while Toppin's mark is sixth all-time.
Kehoe Twilight Meet – Track Events
The 4x100m relay team of
Kadidja Ouattara,
Bianca Durant,
Princess Asante and
Brianna Easley placed third with a time of 46.04.
Qiora Rollins finished third in the 400m with a new personal best of 54.46.
Mydison Britton also set a new personal best of 55.39 to finish sixth. Rollins time is good for fourth in the Towson record books while Britton's time is good for sixth.
Brianna Easley placed fourth in the 100m with a time of 12.10.
Deschanique Douglas finished fifth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:03.68.
Kelis Milburn finished ninth with a time of 1:05.91.
Anna Amato and
Layla James set new personal bests in the 1500m with times of 4:39.71 and 4:44.90, respectively. Amato moved to seventh all-time in Tiger Track history with her time.
Jaylynn Dorsey finishes ninth in the 200m with a time of 24.69.
East Coast Relays – Field Events
Redlo placed 24th in the long jump with a mark of 5.58m.
