Megan Boyle started in goal for the Tigers (2-7, 0-1), making six saves and allowing one goal in 35:00 minutes of play.
William and Mary (2-1) took an early lead in the contest as
Pippin Saunders capitalized in the second minute on a pass from
Navneet Singh.
The Tribe outshot the Tigers 17-2 in the first half as Boyle made six first-half saves. Towson junior
Heather Jenney recorded a defensive save in the 29th minute.
