TOWSON, Md. – Thursday begins the first day of action at the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships for the Towson University tennis team.
In the quarterfinal round the Tigers will face No. 2 seed James Madison after drawing the No. 7 seed at the end of the regular season. First serve is set for 1 p.m. on the campus of Elon. Live stats will be available

The winner of Thursday's quarterfinal match will face the winner of No. 3 Charleston/No. 6 Delaware in Friday's semifinal match at 10 a.m.
Towson and JMU last met on March 15 in Harrisonburg, as the home team took a 7-0 win. In 2016 the two teams played in the CAA quarterfinals, the Dukes won 4-1. In neutral sites between the two teams, James Madison holds a 5-0 lead dating back to the 2008-09 season.
The Tigers are coming off a shutout win over Coppin State on Tuesday night and the most wins since the 2016-17 season. Towson is led by

Lucy Gloninger who all posted 10 wins in the dual match season, including 11 from freshman Collins.
