KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Jordan Cornelius led the Towson University women's golf team during the second round of the Kiawah Island Classic Monday afternoon.
The sophomore carded a five-over 77 and has a two-round score of 150 (+6) to lead the Tigers. Cornelius, who had 13 pars in the second round, is among the top 25 percent golfers out of 261 participants. Towson shot a 322 second round.
Erica Han had the second best round for the Tigers with a nine-over 81. Han had nine pars and birdied the ninth hole.
Julia Calomiris, who birdied the fourth hole, and
Sarah Perine each finished with an 82.
On Monday,
Emma Cox competed as an individual and carded a six-over 78 in the first round, which was a career best. She shot 84 in Tuesday's second round.
Towson tees off at 8:30 a.m. for the final round.
