TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University tennis team is excited to announce the signing of Lea Kosanovic for the 2020-21 roster.
 
Kosanovic is a native of Belgrade, Serbia. She will be a 2020 graduate of Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Maryland. Along with playing tennis she played varsity volleyball her freshman year.
 
In 2018, her tennis team went on to win the Montgomery County Championship, Kosanovic continued on to take the mixed doubles Maryland State Title. She began playing tennis when she was six years old and is a passionate traveler; she has visited 30 countries thus far.
 
Last season Kosanovic played No. 1 singles and named MVP. Walter Johnson finished second in the regional tournament in 2019.
 
Kosanovic loves science, especially biochemistry; she competed on the school's Chem-a-thon Club.
