TOWSON, Md. - The Towson University tennis team welcomes another addition, Antonia Lawson, to the roster for the upcoming season.

Lawson is sisters with Amelia Lawson, a rising sophomore on the roster, and is the second addition to the team for the 2020-21 year. Hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, Lawson had a strong showing in her youth tennis experience.

In 2016 and 2017 her high school tennis team won regionals, and qualified for the National Secondary School Tennis tournament, finishing third in 2016 and fourth in 2017. Lawson was a team captain in 2019 and served on the school sports council from 2015-19. She also received academic excellence awards in 2017, 2018 and 2019 for her work in the classroom.
