LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Towson University women's swimming and diving team stayed atop the standings to secure a first place finish at the Bucknell Invitational.
The Tigers ended with a total of 1,448.5 points through 40 events. Bucknell and UConn rounded out the top-3 with 1,306.5 and 1,266.5 points, respectively. Fordham (1,084), Davidson (956), La Salle (541.5) and Rider (215) followed.
How it Happened
- Karlee Carminati earned second-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:37.84. Meagan Clark also took fourth with a 16:50.68. The two brought in a total of 54 points.
- Towson went three-four in the 200-yard breaststroke. Suzannah Mills clocked a 2:01.99 to take fourth followed by Madeline Frick, who touched in 2:02.25 to place fifth.
- Katie Nunez secured a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 51:00 flat. Maddie Mince followed closely behind in fifth, touching the wall in 51:08.
- Garnering more points for Towson, Samantha Casolo snagged a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, with a time of 2:01.60.
- Finally, the 400-yard freestyle relay of Nunez, Mince, Ava Enriquez and Parker Schulz snagged yet another second-place finish in the pool, clocking 3:25.37.

- Up next on the schedule, Towson will face James Madison on Saturday, Jan. 15 for the second time this season.
