Field Hockey Announces 2021 Spring Schedule

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University field hockey program has released its upcoming 2021 spring schedule including nine regular season contests. The announcement comes after the Tiger's fall season was delayed.  

Towson will play a six-game round-robin CAA (Colonial Athletic Association) schedule in addition to three non-conference contests. The Tigers will play at the Towson Field Hockey Complex five times over the length of the season.  

The University of Delaware will host the top four conference teams in the 2021 CAA Championship Tournament, slated for April 22 and 24.  

Towson will open the season with three home games. The Tigers kick off against Syracuse on March 14 at noon. The following weekend, the team will open league play against Delaware on March 19 at 3 p.m., followed by La Salle on March 21 at 11:30 a.m. 

The Tigers will then travel to take on Northeastern, March 27 in their first of four consecutive road games. The game is slated for 1 p.m.  

Towson will play its last non-conference opponent of the season in Lock Haven on April 2 with a 3 p.m. start. 

From there, the Tigers will head to Virginia to battle William & Mary on April 9 at 6 p.m. in addition to James Madison on April 11 at 1 p.m. 

Towson will round out 2021 with two home games. The team will welcome Hofstra at 3 p.m. on April 16 before hosting Drexel on April 18 at 1 p.m. to finish the regular season.
