TOWSON, Md. — The Towson University women's tennis team is excited to welcome three incoming student-athletes ahead of the fall 2021 season.  

Head Coach Jamie Peterson will be adding transfer Olivia Rothfeld to the team as well as freshmen Sissi Axelsson and Nadeen Shrebati.  

Sissi Axelsson    
Hometown: Lund, Sweden 
High School/Previous School: Akademi Bastad Gymnasium 
Accolades: Ranked No. 28 in U-18 Swedish girls standings … the highest she has ever been ranked in an age bracket for Sweden is No. 8 ... advanced to quarterfinals in singles as well as semifinals in doubles in the Swedish nationals … earned a win over No. 885-ranked player on ITF ... served as President of the Student Union … earned the highest GPA in her class and received the academic achievement award for the Social Studies program … also played soccer. 

Olivia Rothfeld   
Hometown: Rockville, Md.  
High School/Previous School: Georgia Southern/Boca Prep International School 
Accolades: Reached the semifinals of the Broward Prize Money Open, Age Category and National Tennis Rating Program Championship in 2019 … served as SGA President her senior year … stayed on the honor roll and a member of National Honors Society all four years of high school.  

Nadeen Shrebati    
Hometown: Melbourne, Australia  
High School/Previous School: IMG Academy  
Accolades: Attended Bayside P-12 College in Australia before graduating from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida … finished top-60 in Australia for her age group and top 10 in Victoria … maintained above a 3.5 GPA throughout high school.
