LEWISBURG, Pa. – After 18 more holes and a two stroke improvement the Towson University men's golf team sits tied for 11
th place at the conclusion of the second day of the Bucknell Fall Invitational. The Tigers earned a score of 295 (+15) for the second round. Currently the team has an overall score of 592 (+32).
Julian Gonzalez still leads the way for the Tigers, currently tied for 19
th place. The graduate student shot 4-over for the second round and notched three birdies.
Jeremy Summerson trails close behind Gonzalez, finishing the day tied for 26th after shooting a 73. The senior put forth a strong effort for his first nine holes, earning eight pars and one birdie. Summerson currently leads the field for number of pars, earning 26 for the tournament so far.
Ryan Peters moved up a spot to finish the day tied for 42
nd. The graduate student shot a 75 for the second day in a row and recorded two birdies.
Justin Griffith bounced back from his first day performance, improving his score by five strokes after shooting a 73. Griffith is on the leader board for number of pars as well, earning 23 for the tournament so far.
Brad Riley rounds out the team after having a three stroke improvement for the day, shooting a 75 for the second 18 holes.
The Tigers will play the final 18 holes of the tournament tomorrow morning starting at 9:00 a.m.
