LEWISBURG, Pa. – After a slow first day of the Bucknell Invitational the Towson University men's golf team managed to bounce back, improving from their first round score by 15 strokes to finish the tournament tied for fifth with a final score of 874 (+34). Three of the Tigers finished in the top-25. 
Rider University won the tournament with a final score of 858 (+18). Josh Nagy of Robert Morris was the top finisher individually, earning a score of 208 (-2).
Julian Gonzalez (71-74-71) was the top finisher for the Tigers, ending the tournament tied for tenth after shooting one-over for his final 18 holes. The graduate student earned 8 birdies throughout the event. 
Justin Griffith (78-73-67) had a major comeback for his final 18 holes, improving by 11 strokes from his first round score to finish tied for 18
th. Griffith recorded five birdies and shot a 67 which is a career best for the graduate student. His previous best was 68, which he had achieved twice. This was Griffith's 38
th tournament with Towson and marks his 103
rd round as a Tiger.

th with Griffith was 
Jeremy Summerson (73-73-72). The senior was very consistent throughout the tournament, shooting two-over for his final round. Summerson added three more birdies to his scorecard for the last 18 holes. 
Ryan Peters (75-75-73) had a consistent performance as well. Peters' best round was his final round, where he shot a 73 and earned three birdies.  
Brad Riley (78-75-72) rounded out the squad, improving by six strokes from his first round score for the final 18 holes. 
The Tigers will conclude their fall season on Oct 21 and 22 at the Lehigh University Invitational, hosted by Lehigh.
