TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's tennis team has released its 2023 fall schedule on Tuesday morning announced by head coach Jamie Peterson.
The Tigers will compete in six tournaments this fall season, including hosting one at the Tiger Tennis Complex.
"I am really looking forward to this season", said Coach Peterson. "We have a much different team this year with two healthy, hungry freshmen, one grad transfer who brings a ton of experience, two returnees coming back from injury and four returners who played the bulk of matches last year. I am anxious to see the results we have this fall and how we can use this time to mold our roster, improve and be primed to compete in the spring."
The Black & Gold start the fall season by hosting the Towson Hidden Dual Tournament from Sept. 8th – 10th. Towson will play four matches across the three-day tournament.
The Tigers head down to Williamsburg, Va. to compete in the Tribe Invitational on Sept. 16th – 17th for the second straight year.
Towson travels to Annapolis to compete in the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational on Sept. 29th – Oct. 1st.
The Tigers then head down to Fairfax, Va. to compete in the George Mason Invitational on Oct. 7th – 8th.
A week later, Towson travels down the road to compete in the Greyhounds Women's Tennis Classic from Oct. 14th-15th.
The Black & Gold wrap up the fall slate with the ITA Atlantic Regional hosted by Liberty University on Oct. 19th -23rd.
