SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. – The Towson University men's golf team is set to open the 2024 spring season at the fourth annual Ross Collegiate Classic hosted by George Mason from March 11-12 in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

TEE TIMES AND FORMAT
This is a 54-hole, three-round tournament with two rounds of play happening on the first day and the final round on the second day. Both days begin with a 9:15 a.m. shotgun start.
THE FIELD
The Tigers are set to play against athletes from Eastern Michigan, George Mason, Georgetown, James Madison, Loyola Chicago, Loyola Maryland, Miami (Ohio), Ohio University, Old Dominion, St. Bonaventure, St. Joe's, St. John's, William & Mary, Xavier and Bowling Green.

2023 FALL SEASON RECAP
The Tigers concluded the first half of the 2023-24 season with their highest finish of the fall slate, placing third out of 13 teams at the Lehigh University Invitational after rounds of 299 and 301. Towson's results marked the team's lowest scores on a par-72 course for the fall campaign. Four Tigers placed in the top 20 individually.
Freshman
Ariihau Faana led the Tigers with the lowest average of 73.64 for 11 rounds.
Brad Riley had an average of 74.54 for 11 rounds while
Sky Aung rounded out the team's top three performers with a 74.38 for eight rounds of play throughout the fall season. Faana shot under 70 twice, shooting 67 and 69 during the first two rounds of The Doc Gimmler tournament in September of 2023.
Jai Sheth carded a 67 as well during the second round at the same event.
