TOWSON, Md. – The Towson track & field team is off to its final meet before the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championships, heading to the University of Maryland for the Kehoe Twilight Meet on Friday.

Start Times: Field events start at 1:00 p.m. with the women's hammer throw while track events kick off at 5:30 p.m. with the 4x100m relay.

Last We Saw Them
The Black & Gold last competed two weeks ago, as the team had a split weekend at Morgan State and Georgia Tech. At the Morgan State Legacy Meet,
Sara Veres threw a 8m PR in the javelin, tossing 30.80m.
Lexi Mogensen clocked a PR of 2:18.83 in the 800m while
Baara Stewart won the event with a time of 2:16.11.
At Georgia Tech's Yellow Jacket Invitational, the 4x100 relay reset the school record and won the event with a 44.67.
Fatimah Owens threw a season best mark of 48.96m in the hammer throw.
Leeann Redlo leapt a distance of 5.49m in the long jump, a PR for the sophomore's first time competing in the event this season.
Manie Mevo earned a mark of 5.44m in the same event.
Rewriting the Record Books
The Tigers have set eight new marks in the top-10 all-time performance list so far this season.

Cristal Cuervo rank first and third in the 100m dash. The 4x100 relay of

Ty'Liyah Hannah hold the fastest time in program history.
Baara Stewart ranks in sixth in the 800m. The 4x400 relay of
Cristal Cuervo,
Satori Valentine,
Sydney Tucker and
Maya Tucker have clocked the eighth fastest time in program history this season.
Aubrey Schaffer holds the fifth best time in the 10k.
Leeann Redlo has the second best mark in the triple jump while
Kiara Murray has the seventh best distance in the triple jump.
The 4x100 relay of

Maya Tucker,
Cristal Cuervo and
Ty'Liyah Hannah has broken the school record three times this season. The four Tigers initially set the record at the home and season opener on March 16 at Johnny Unitas Stadium, running a time of 45.25. On April 6 at the USF Invite, the relay broke the 45.00 mark, clocking a 44.86. Most recently, the quartet ran a 44.67 at the Yellow Jacket Invitational on April 20. With that mark, the squad ranks 72
nd in the NCAA out of all DI programs.
In the Rankings
Several Tigers currently rank in the top-10 in the conference in their respective events.
Maya Tucker (11.38),
Cristal Cuervo (11.53) and
Sydney Tucker rank second, fourth and ninth respectively in the 100m dash. In the 200m,
Maya Tucker (23.73) ranks fifth while
Cristal Cuervo (23.82) is seventh. Cuervo sits at seventh as well in the 400m with a time of 55.20.
Aubrey Schaffer is 10
th in the 10k after clocking a PR of 36:24.02 three weeks ago. The 4x100 relay ranks second in the CAA, only .20 behind Campbell.
Leeann Redlo ranks third in the high jump with a mark of 1.75m.
Manie Mevo is second in the triple jump with a distance of 12.45m.
Fatimah Owens is fifth in the shot put (14.26m) and sixth in the discus (48.42m).
Kira Parsons holds the seventh spot in the javelin with a mark of 39.35m.
Via the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the team ranks 11
th in the Mid-Atlantic region ahead of Maryland as well as CAA foes Monmouth and Delaware.
