TOWSON, Md. – The preseason awards keep coming for
Mikey Weisshaar as the junior midfielder has been named as an
Inside Lacrosse Preseason First Team All-American, announced by the publication on Thursday.
So far this preseason, Weisshaar has been named a Preseason First Team All-American by
Inside Lacrosse, the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Midfielder of the Year and the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Preseason Player of the Year.
Weisshaar is the first Towson player to be a preseason All-American since Koby Smith was selected for that honor by
Inside Lacrosse in 2022.
From Arnold, Maryland, Weisshaar racked up several awards last year, including All-America recognition from USA Lacrosse,
Inside Lacrosse and the USILA. He started all 17 games in the first midfield, being Towson's leader in goals with 42, adding 19 assists. He notched multiple goals in 12 games, including hat tricks in the final two games vs. Delaware and at Syracuse.

Towson begins the 2025 season on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. vs. Baltimore rival Johns Hopkins.
