EDISTO BEACH, S.C. - The Towson University women's golf team completed the first round of the Edisto Island Invitational on Sunday. The Tigers currently sit in 12th place after a combined score of 335 (+51).

Elon leads the field after tallying 294 (+10) in the first round. Georgia State follows in second, sitting at 299 (+15). Charleston rounds out the top three, recording a combined 300 (+16).

Payton Balliet was the top performer for Towson in the first round, tied for 44th after shooting 81 (+10).

Grace Oristian follows, tied for 56th place after tallying 83 (+12). Kanchana Kanchanaphiboon is tied for 64th place with a first-round score of 85 (+14).

Luciana Calbimonte sits in 68th place after posting 86 (+15). Victoriah Kuranga rounds out Towson's lineup, tied for 69th place after recording 87 (+16) in the first round.
