ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Towson University women's golf team is through the first round of the Navy Invite on Saturday. The Tigers currently sit in 9th place after a first-round score of 322 (+34).

Stetson leads on the course with a first-round score of 304 (+16), followed by Bucknell in second at 306 (+18). Howard trails in third after posting a combined 308 (+20).

Grace Oristian is Towson's top performer after the first day of the tournament, currently tied for 12th place after shooting 77 (+5) in the first round. Oristian tallied four birdies.

Luciana Calbimonte and Victoriah Kuranga are tied for 36th place after both posting 81 (+9).

Kanchana Kanchanaphiboon sits tied for 48th place after recording 83 (+11). Payton Balliet rounds out Towson's lineup after carding 87 (+15) to tie for 65th place.
