JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Towson University men's golf team is set for the Red Flash Invitational, hosted by Saint Francis University from Oct. 6-7.
The Red Flash Invitational will be a 54-hole competition, with the first two rounds taking place on Monday and the final round concluding on Tuesday. Tee times begin at 8 a.m. on both days. The tournament is being contested at the Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Towson will be joined by West Virginia, St. Thomas Aquinas, High Point, Howard, Columbia, Mount St. Mary's, New Haven, Saint Francis, Mercyhurst and UMass Amherst.

From Sept. 29-30, the Black & Gold competed at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virginia University. After day one, Towson climbed three spots to finish 15th overall. The final round was highlighted by standout performances from Sky Aung and Michael Matheson, who both carded under-par rounds.
Aung fired a 68 (-4) in the third round - tying his second-lowest collegiate score - which lifted him 22 spots on the leaderboard to finish tied for 26th at 1-under for the tournament. Matheson followed with a 69 (-3), also matching his second-lowest collegiate round, to jump 25 spots and close in 51st place.
