Sedona, Ariz. - The Towson University women's golf team finished 19th overall at the Red Rocks Invitational on Sunday. Inclement weather on Friday and Saturday shortened the tournament to a single 18-hole round, where the Tigers posted a score of 326 (+38) under snowy and rainy conditions.
Grand Canyon claimed the victory with a single-round score of 288 (even-par), followed by Northern Arizona in second with a 289 (+1). North Dakota State and South Dakota State tied for third, each recording a 291 (+3).
Peyton Costabile tied for 79th after posting a score of 79 (+7), highlighted by two birdies.
Luciana Calbimonte followed not too far behind, tying for 85th with score of 80 (+8).
Kalyn Doss finished tied for 99th, posting a score of 82 (+10).
Kanchana Kanchanaphiboon tied for 105th with a score of 85 (+13).
Kyndall Campbell tied for 110th after posting an 88 (+16).
In lieu of the shortened tournament, Columbia is hosting a quad-match featuring Towson, Morehead State and Xavier. The 18-hole match is set to tee off at 4PM EST Sunday.
