RICHMOND, Va. – The Towson University women's basketball team and the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) have announced the team's conference opponents for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Announced by the league office, teams will play an 18-game league schedule against the other 12 league members. Each team will have six repeat opponents, consisting of home-and-away games, and three home-only and away-only foes. All teams will have nine home and nine away games each.
In addition, the league has announced each teams' permanent opponents, including two of the six repeat opponents, to "preserve regional rivalries and geographic ties," per the CAA. Towson's permanent opponents will be Drexel and Monmouth.
Dates and times for league games will be announced at a later date. Games will be played primarily on Fridays and Sundays.
Towson is coming off the heels of a CAA quarterfinals appearance vs. Campbell in the 2024-25 CAA Championship. The Tigers closed the season with six wins over their final ten games and will return five players from last season's squad.
