STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The Towson University women's golf team wrapped up the Nittany Lion Invitational Monday afternoon. The Tigers finished tied for 13th place after rounds of 316-304-305, bringing the team's total to 925.
Penn State moved up to the top of the leaderboard after totaling 878 (+14) on the course. Delaware secured a second-place finish after posting a combined 879 (+15), followed by Yale to round out the podium at 880 (+16).
Sophomore
Victoriah Kuranga led the Tigers after the final round; finishing tied for 19th after shooting a 75 (+3) in the final round.
Luciana Calbimonte and
Kanchana Kanchanaphiboon moved up the leaderboard to finish tied for 53rd place. Both Tigers posted a 74 (+2) in the final round. Calbimonte's score on the final day was supported by four birdies.
Grace Oristian tied for 73rd place following a third-round 82 (+10).
Payton Balliet rounded out Towson's lineup after posting an 88 (+16).
