TOWSON, Md. – Freshman forward Alaina Lomonaco has been named the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Week, the CAA announced Monday.
 
Lomonaco is the first Towson field hockey conference rookie of the week since Anouk Westerink received the honor in September of 2024.
 
The Mullica Hill, New Jersey native has appeared in every game for Towson so far in her debut season and scored her first career goal on Friday in Towson's 2-1 victory over CAA rivals Northeastern.
 
Lomonaco and the Tigers are back in action on Friday at 3 p.m. when Towson hosts Delaware on Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day.
