TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's golf team will kick off its spring schedule on March 9 at the Babygrande Donald Ross Collegiate played at the Mid Pines Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C. The event lasts three days and will feature one round each day.
The lineup for the Tigers will be
Sky Aung,
Michael Matheson,
Jai Sheth,
Ariihau Faana and
Adam Green.
Aung shot +8 during the four tournaments during the fall slate but -1 in his personal back nine and -3 on day two of a tournament. He shot par or better on 81.25% of holes this season.
Matheson was +4 on the second day of tournaments with 30 birdies during the fall schedule. He shot -7 on holes greater than 500 yards in length.
Sheth had two eagles during the fall schedule, the most of any Towson men's golfer. Those eagles helped him shoot -9 on holes greater than 500 yards in length.
Faana shot par or better in 68.69% of holes during the fall slate. He shot best on holes between 500-549 yards with a score of -5.
Green rounds out the five golfers teeing off for the Tigers. He had 36 holes of par or better on 72 holes played during the fall schedule.
