GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Towson women's golf team sits in 14th place after the second round of the Ironwood Invitational, carding a 69-over par.
Kanchana Kanchanaphiboon shot her second consecutive round of seven-over par to lead the Tigers.
Kanchanaphiboon parred 13 of 18 holes on the day including seven of the course's back nine. She sits at 54th place as an individual.
Victoriah Kuranga tied Kanchanaphiboon with a seven-over round two. Kuranga parred holes one through six during round two to place 63rd overall.
The remaining three Tigers shot nine-over par during round two.
Luciana Calbimonte parred every par four and five on the course's front nine during her nine-over second round and now sits in 73rd place overall.
Kalyn Doss shot just two-over on the course's front nine, placing in 75th after round two.
Grace Oristian also shot nine-over par on the day. She birdied her first hole of the day, hole 16, before coming back around towards the end of her day to birdie hole 11.
Only one player in the field is shooting under par after two rounds. Barbara Car is at four-under after carding a five-under par on round two.
The course played 1.74 strokes lower on day two compared to day one. Towson, as a team, shot five strokes lower in the second round.
