TOWSON, Md. -- The 2019-20 Tigers won 19 games for the fifth time under head coach Pat Skerry and finished third in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) after being picked to finish sixth in the preseason poll. Late in the game, Dennis Tunstall took a charge to keep the game tied, scored the go-ahead basket on a tip-in, blocked a shot and set a screen, which led to a Brian Fobbs 3-pointer – all during a two-minute stretch of the second half. During its seven-game winning streak from Jan. 4-30, 2020, Towson won three straight CAA games by double figures for the first time in program history. The seven consecutive CAA regular season victories were also a first in program history.
