TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's golf team begins the 2021 schedule at the Kiawah Island Classic in South Carolina on February 28. The College of Charleston hosts the three-day event, held at Kiawah Island Oak & Cougar Point Golf. It is the ninth consecutive year that Towson has kicked off its spring campaign in Kiawah.

Shannon Briggs said. "We look forward to a healthy return to play."
Overall, the Tigers will compete in five events this spring, including the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) tournament in April.
The top four golfers from the 2019-20 team return led by
Jordan Cornelius. In spring 2019, as a sophomore, she finished in a third place tie at the 2019 CAA Championships to become the first Towson women's golfer to earn All-Tournament honors since the program was established in 2006-07.
In addition to Cornelius, the Tigers will feature veteran performers
Julia Calomiris, Sarah Perine and
Jayla Kang.
After nearly a month off after Kiawah, the Tigers will play in a pair of tournaments during a six-day period. Towson will travel to Williamsburg to participate in the Kingsmill Invitational in Williamsburg (March 29-30) then head to Annapolis for the Navy Spring Invitational (April 2-3).
Next up will be the Women's Intercollegiate at the Prospect Bay Country Club in Kent Island on April 10-11.
The 2021 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championships will be in North Carolina at St. James Plantation. The three-round tournament takes place April 16- 18.
