EDISTO ISLAND, S.C. – The Towson University women's golf team is set for the final tournament of the fall season, heading back down to the Carolinas for the Edisto Island Invitational on October 16 and 17.
The two-day event is hosted by Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) foe College of Charleston at the par-71, 5,980-yard Plantation Course in Edisto Island, South Carolina. Two rounds of 36 holes will be played on Monday, beginning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. The final 18 holes take place on Tuesday beginning with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The Field
The Tigers will be joined by CAA members William & Mary, College of Charleston and Elon as well as Appalachian State, Charleston Southern, East Carolina, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville, Lipscomb, Longwood, Rollins, Citadel, UAB, Western Carolina and Wofford.

Last Tournament Recap
The Black & Gold saw a sixth-place finish at the UNCG Collegiate Tournament last week after a season best 54-hole round score of 895 (+31), having rounds of 303-296-297.
Madison Barber led the Tigers as she finished tied for eighth, 2-over par. The graduate student's strongest round was the final round, where she fired a career low 70 and birdied five holes. Barber also set a program record for a 9-hole score after she shot 31 for the front nine of her second round. Following her performance at UNCG, the Canada native earned her second consecutive CAA Women's Golfer of the Week.
Peyton Costabile played steady golf, having rounds of 74-74-72 to finish in 15
th place overall. Her even-par 72 for the final round marked a collegiate career low for the sophomore.
