WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Towson University women's golf team begins the 2024 spring season at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate, hosted by University of North Carolina Greensboro at the Hammock Creek Golf Club in West Palm Beach Florida.
The 54-hole tournament takes place from February 11-13, with rounds of 18 holes being played each day. The course is par-72, 6066/6006 yards.
The Field
Towson will be joined by host UNCG as well as Longwood, Ohio, Bucknell, Elon, UAB, Lipscomb, William & Mary, Jacksonville State, Morehead State, Stonehill, Boston and Southern Illinois.

Fall Recap
The Tigers 2023 fall season was highlighted by a second place finish out of 15 teams at the Navy Invitational from September 30 – October 1. Towson saw its highest tournament finish in two years after steady rounds of 305-308. Graduate student Madsion Barber led the team, finishing in second place individually after having rounds of 72-75. Barber was awarded Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) women's golfer of the week following her performance.
Faith McIlvain earned a top-10 finish, tying for eighth after shooting 74 and 79.
The team's second highest finish of the season was at the following tournament. The Tigers tied for sixth at the UNCG Fall Invitational with rounds of 303-296-296. Barber had the highest individual finish for Towson, tying for eighth after finishing 2-over par. She shot a career low 70 for the third round and set a new program record of 31 for a 9-hole score. The Canada native picked up her second CAA Golfer of the Week award of the season following the tournament. Sophomore
Peyton Costabile had a solid performance as well, placing 15
th after carding 74-74-72.
Senior
Isabella Portokalis recorded a collegiate career low during her second round of the Edisto Island Invitational on October 16 and 17, shooting 70.
Upcoming Schedule
The Tigers have four total tournaments this spring season.
Following this event, the team will attend the UNCW River Landing Classic on March 4 and 5 at the River Landing Club in Wallace, North Carolina.
The Black & Gold then attend the JEL Golf Invitational at the Prospect Bay Golf Club in Kent Island, Maryland on March 29 and 30 before competing in the CAA Championships from April 12-14 at the Reserve Club at St. James in South Port, North Carolina.
